A Grateful Response to God's Love

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16 

As God's Word so often reminds us, one of the genuine marks of love is a generous spirit. It was God who first loved us and gave to us what was most precious to himself: his son, and when the good news of God's love takes hold of the believer, charity will not be far behind. 

People are often surprised to learn just how much goes on behind the scenes to make the worship and ministry of our church possible. From the nursery caregivers who look after our children on Sunday mornings to the maintenance of this great and grand building and campus to the coffee we enjoy before Sunday School: all of it is made possible by your generous response to God’s call to be part of the life and mission of his church. By God’s grace, we strive to be a church that does more than merely survive — we aim to be a church who thrives as she ministers to Charleston and beyond!
