The Heart of Church Membership

At its heart, membership in the Christian church is marked by active participation in the ongoing life of the community. This life is described in Acts 2:42-47 and is summarized in the solemn vow which is taken during the service of baptism: 

“Will you continue in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers?” 

“I will, with God’s help.”
